in girlfrompluto’s second mixtape, released 18 october 2023, she explores dissociation and de-personalization by subverting the expectations of trap as a genre. aggressive sibilance, left-field textures, and unmatched intensity characterize her third full-length effort. the album coincided with her first live performances, as part of the 2023 crash blossoms “crash the party” tour. the album was performed in full for the first time on 21 july 2023, when girlfrompluto headlined for a sold-out crowd at the trunk space in her home town of phoenix.
